THE CROSS-COUNTRY SKI SCHOOL IS CLOSED THIS YEAR.
NOVÁK NORDIC CENTRE was founded in 2012, when we focused on a cross-country skiing school led by Petr and Jan Novák. We decided to share our experience with everyone interested in this beautiful sport, because cross-country skiing simply belongs to Boží Dar.
The cross-country ski school is built on the many years of experience and knowledge of coach and father Jan Novák. These are invaluable in this sport. You have a unique opportunity to learn under the guidance of one of the best coaches in our country. Many World Championship and Olympic medallists have grown up under his guidance.

You have a unique opportunity to learn under the guidance of one of the best coaches in our country. Many World Championship and Olympic medallists have grown up under his guidance. During some courses you can even meet Petr Novák, a long-time member of the Czech national cross-country skiing team. He currently ranks among the absolute world elite in long-distance cross-country skiing. So you can see technique at the highest world level and learn something about elite training.
The ski lessons take place around Boží Dar in the Ore Mountains. With its conditions for cross-country skiing, Boží Dar ranks among the best in our country. So you hardly need to worry that the conditions for lessons would not be optimal. Cross-country skiing is a technically very demanding sport, and therefore it is very hard to learn correctly on your own without the supervision of professional coaches.
We are here so that we can teach you the correct technique and you no longer have to struggle with a poor style. We will also teach you how to wax correctly for both glide and kick. We will advise you on how to choose the right ski equipment and you will learn many interesting things from the world of elite sport. Cross-country skiing has been experiencing a great boom among people recently.
